It's amazing how long you can keep running when you are running to the cadence of "Tif-fan-ys! Tif-fan-ys! Tif-fan-ys!"
I went to the Expo.
Got my name on the Niketown wall!! (can you see it?)
Made my own smoothie...the beginning of carb loading!
Got my manicure!
More carb loading...
Won some new Nikes!!!
And some more carb loading...
Got up at 6 AM and acted excited about it!
Along with 20,000 other women (and a few brave men)
Got pre-race pumped! Waiting to cross the start line (it took 18 minutes....)
Ran with some wonderful friends and some GREAT entertainment!! I didn't even pop the ipod in once! And ran the whole time!! :)
Took LOTS of running pictures!
Ran by Alcatraz...
and Fisherman's Wharf 
And a foggy Golden Gate Bridge!
Ran up killer hill! And passed all those walkers!!
Fell in the final mile...
And found some tuxedo-clad firefighters with some real cute blue boxes!"I wonder if I close my eyes they won't see how "beautiful" I look?!?"
Added some bling to the collection...
Got wrapped up in my designer "Cole Hann" foil wrap!
Stretched...
Got a wonderful 30 minute massage!
And finally....Showered!!
And finally....Showered!!It was by far the most fun I have had running 13.1 miles!!
I loved it!!

It's official, i want to run a 1/2 marathon for the first time in my life after looking at this post! Soooooo...if I EVER do it, this will be the one I want to do! PS...I want better pics of the necklace!
Janelle, I am so glad you got to do that! It would have been fun to come and see you run. I did a 5k and it was hard enough. Maybe someday...
I had once thought I would try to do the race you did but quickly realized that it just might kill me right now. Thanks for sharing the whole experience, now I know exactly what it would have been like! Glad you had fun!
