run like a girl...

I got in!!
Nike Women's Marathon and Half Marathon
San Francisco

Why would I be excited to run these streets of San Fran?

Only because of these reasons...

-Official finisher necklace designed by Tiffany & Co.
-Given to my by a firefighter in a tuxedo!
-The Chocolate Mile
-Free Manis/Pedis
-Spending a weekend of celebration with my FUN friend, LIZA...happy 30th! And my Marcie! And Liza's fun friends who I have been dying to meet!!
Oh, yeah, and this stuff too...
-100% recycled Nike Dri-FIT Finisher T-shirt in women’s sizes (unique to full and half participants)
-Three-day interactive Expotique in Union Square
-Breathtaking course starting in Union Square and ending along the Pacific Ocean
-Extraordinary on-course support and entertainment
-Post-race celebration at the finish line including free massages, food, music and more

I am totally JEALOUS! I run a half in just over a week and I am sure I will only get a cup of orange juice at the end. All I can say is it better be Naked Juice!

How fun! I am so impressed you're running a marathon. AND in one of the most picturesque cities in the US. You're making out like a bandit, too. Totally nice.

I'm so excited too! But don't start saying "happy 30th" yet - I'm still very much in my 20's!

Congratulations. That is very exciting. I'm proud of you. I want to some day...but never know how I'd manage to be prepared for it.
