Lovin' the yellow through all these years!

Today is my parent's 36th Wedding Anniversary!!! I love them both so much! I am so thankful for the example they have given me of love and relationships. In Relief Society yesterday the question was asked, "How can you as parents help your children keep the commandments when those around them aren't?" As I shared my response I realized how thankful I am for my wonderful parents. I said something along the lines of, "You need to reinforce the good of the gospel. I don't have kids of my own, but I remember when my parents went to the temple. I remember finding one or both of them kneeling in prayer. And I remember them allowing me to use my agency when I wanted to go to the mall with a friend on Sunday. When you see your parents doing the things they tell you to do, it really reinforces it. These actions have fortified and blessed my life than any other lessons they could've taught me". And it's true!
I love you Mom and Dad!! Thank you for everything, especially your example!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BEN AND JOJO!! We love you and Janelle, you are right, they are a WONDERFUL, INCREDIBLE example of love, patience and faith in their relationship. I'm glad I could become a part-time adoptive daughter and also benefit from their example! And I know because of their example that you will find a wonderful man to marry and treat you with as much respect as your dad has always had for your mom! What a blessing!

That is such a cute picture of them. For a second I thought that was a picture of Collette. Just for a second. After that the yellow made me realize who it really is. I really appreciate your parents example too. I also just love the kids they raised.

Hello Miss Janelle!
I asked that same question when I taught R.S. yesterday. I sure wish you would have been in my class to comment. I was sad that you weren't there...you little ward hopper!
