ethnic night--german style

It was our second ethnic night and we decided to go to the Hofbräuhaus! We were worried about being non-drinkers, but it was so much fun, even being sober! The food was actually really good. I didn't like it when I was in Germany, but it is amazing what an English menu can do!
This gentleman's job is to test the beer from 12 Noon to 11PM! He says he drinks an average of 8-12 GI-NORMOUS beers a day. And he doesn't get drunk. His poor, poor liver!

Wurstplatte--a sausage lovers delight! It definitely had plenty of sausage. My friend, Dallin, really got into the spirit of it all.

Jägerschnitzel--the pasta was called spätzle and it was soo good! Kinda like a fancy version of macaroni and cheese! And a fact I try to keep secret is that I LOVE macaroni and cheese. It was heaven!
At the end of the night we danced and probably acted like we were drunk, it really was so much fun!
Next month? Cuban!

I once had Lobster macaroni and cheese at a really fancy restaurant and it is seriously one of the most memorable meals I've ever tasted. Mac n cheese is so underestimated! and I love German food...but strangely, never get it.

Mac & Cheese is the best!

You are so much more daring than I - I could never eat that kind of food. The beer - well, after a long day with these maniac kids - bring it on!

I am so glad I'm not the only mac and cheese lover! I don't think I could ever get sick of it!! And Aly, gourmet mac and cheese....maybe I'll serve that at my wedding one day! :)
