class of 2008...

I graduated!! I am officially a Nurse Practitioner (now I just need to find a job!)

My absolutely AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL friends surprised me and came out for my graduation. It was completely ridiculous seeing how much they had to arrange with their families to support me! I am still a little cranky about it, but I am SO thankful to have them in my life and I am SO thankful for the sacrifices they made to come out! They are amazing girls, and I know I had some more amazing ones back home that wanted to come, but couldn't. I love them too!! :) I love these girls so much!

The only thing that sucked about the trip is that at the last minute I got set up on a blind date for Friday night. So basically, as I was heading out the door, the girls were coming in! I ended the date short, and he was a nice enough guy. But worth canceling on my girls, not so sure...What would you have done? Cancelled the blind date 30 mins before the date was suppose to start? Or tell the girls, I have to go, sorry? Ugh, the dilemma!

Aly, Bradie, Me, and Jen (DANG, we still look good after 20 years together!!) :)

I got to see little Emery again!
Jen even painted her nails for the "girls" trip!! :)

It was a great weekend! Thanks girls!! And my family...(hehe) we had a fun BBQ after graduation. It was perfect!

i miss 'em!

I miss my nephews and niece! They moved to Utah at the end of May, and while I realize it hasn't been a month yet, I still really miss them.

I miss going on dates with them:

I miss watching Ben's teeth come out:

I miss watching Grayson's little fits....

And how quickly he gets over them and flashes that ADORABLE smile, that makes your heart melt!

Playing Sunday games after dinner:

I miss listening to them sing karaoke at my place:

Good thing they have an amazing mom (who I miss also!) who updates her blog! And I can still know what is going on!!

I miss you, G-unit!!

Aunt Janelle

i really do love jane!

I know I am a slacker, and it really didn't take me this long to think of reasons why I love Jane! I was just on a blog time-out! So I am back! Do you not just LOVE this pictures. I have a lot of great pics with Jane, but the exuberance of 16 year olds when meeting DAN MAJERLE for the first time, was just too great to pass up!! That man should be a saint for putting up with us!! Oh, it was great!!
So, to my Jane:
1. Jane defines class. Everything she touches just turns to class.
2. She is one of the most sincere people I know.
3. She is always full of compassion and kindness for others.
4. She has an amazing laugh.
5. She has the most adorable children, and in the pre-blog days would always send me updates on pictures. I LOVED them!
6. I love that we can not talk for months but when we do it is just like we picked up where we left off.
7. She is happy in life, and it is evident in all that she does.
8. She just makes me happy and she doesn't even know it!!
I love you, and so happy that I can stalk your blog!! :)

a look into janelle's pocket calendar this past month....

my FINAL, final exam...

April 25th

I walked into my last final beaming! I only studied 30 mins....but I didn't care. I was done, it is over. I hated almost every minute of graduate school (this semester was a tad better) and I was just minutes away from being done. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I did it....but I am OFFICIALLY done!! With straight A's and all!! yipee!!

My roommate, Annie and I went straight to Mandalay Bay's pool for a little R&R. Then our other roomie, Ashlee and our friend, Marcie joined us and we stayed the night at the South Point Hotel. Collin Raye was performing that night, so we ate some dinner went to the concert and then went to a movie afterwards.

We got up the next morning and worked out so we could go to the breakfast buffet. Lounged around, and then went to my first ever spa day! And omigosh!!! I am addicted!! It was the most fabulous things EVER! It is a definite must for anyone out there....worth absolutely EVERY penny!!

We got there and went right to the steam room, then to the shoulder/neck massage shower, then to the hot tub, then back to the steamer, then lounged and read, then took a scented shower, then lounged, then got a body treatment, here's mine:

"Baja and Beyond--From the Rain Forest, honeybees collect the raw materials to produce Propolis which is naturally high in antioxidants, extremely healing and is deeply moisturizing. In this innovative treatment, this magical elixir is applied to your skin, you are wrapped to enhance absorption then warm Coconut Milk is poured over your entire body and gently massaged in for astonishing healing and moisturizing results. Add a body scrub enhancement and make this an 80 minute treatment."

Then lounged.....etc.

Bliss! Pure Bliss!

the best thank-you card ever, and I mean EVER!

April 23rd

I received this from a patient who just loved me! Our personalities really meshed and I had a lot of fun with her. After the baby came out she was so appreciative and kept telling me how she "couldn't have done it without me"....and then gave me this gift card....

Did I mention that English was her second language?

I will keep this card FOREVER!
